Conservatives force emergency debates on Keystone XL and vaccines

Ottawa, ON — The Hon. Erin O’Toole, Leader of Canada’s Conservatives and the Official Opposition, issued the following statement regarding the emergency debates on the cancellation of Keystone XL and the vaccine rollout:

“Today, Conservatives were successful in securing two emergency debates because the Liberal government’s botched delivery of vaccines and their total failure on Keystone XL will negatively impact workers and the economy across Canada.

“Conservatives are focused on holding the government accountable for the two most important things to Canadians: securing our health through vaccines and securing our future through jobs.

“Canadians deserve better. That’s what we’re fighting for.”
