Service Canada has updated the latest initiatives for Canadians affected by the COVID-19 pandemic;
- EI sickness benefits are still offering up to 15 weeks of revenue replacement;
- The one-week waiting period for new claimants in quarantine has been eliminated;
- There is a new phone number for inquiries: 1-833-381-2725<tel:1-833-381-2725>.
- The processing of EI sickness claims of people in quarantine will be prioritized.
